Original source: City of Pickering tennis closure extension
Indoor tennis players at Pickering’s Chestnut Hill Developments Recreation Complex will have to wait longer to return to the courts. The City says the closure will continue through Sunday, November 15, with reopening scheduled for Monday, November 16.
Work continues on the court surfaces
The November 5 notice identifies tennis-court crack repairs as the purpose of the work and says the courts remain closed for completion of repainting. It lists the extension period as Friday, November 6 through Sunday, November 15.
The announcement concerns the indoor tennis courts, not a closure of the entire recreation complex. November 16 is the scheduled reopening date rather than a guarantee that work cannot change.
Membership extensions
The City says tennis members will receive a membership extension equal to the duration of the closure. The notice does not give individual account calculations or additional application instructions; members should contact the complex if they need clarification.
For updates, consult the official service notice or call the City’s service disruption line at 1-866-278-9993 before travelling.
