Oshawa is extending the operating season for Rotary Pool and all city splash pads through September 20, giving residents two additional weeks to use the outdoor facilities.

Pool access

Oshawa residents can continue to use Rotary Pool without an admission charge by showing a season pass or government-issued identification with an Oshawa address. Regular admission fees apply to non-residents. Swimmers should check the leisure-swim schedule and admission rules before visiting.

Parking changes after Labour Day

Parking at Rotary Park is limited. Additional parking at Durham Alternative Secondary School is available daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. through Labour Day, September 7. From September 8 through September 20, the additional lot is available Monday to Friday from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. and on weekends from 1 to 6:30 p.m.

The City says thousands of residents and visitors have used the redeveloped Rotary Park since it opened in July. The pool project received partial funding from the Government of Canada.
