Durham residents can now consult municipal websites for unofficial results from Monday’s municipal and school-board elections. The first post-vote figures are available through local results pages and linked reporting services, but an unofficial tally is not the same document as a clerk-certified result.

Brock, Clarington, Oshawa and Uxbridge explicitly tell readers that certified results will be posted when available. This roundup provides the municipal source links; it does not project winners. The later Whitby-only certification update is identified above.

Where to check your municipality

Turnout is not the same as votes for one office

Ajax’s results service reported 33,511 participating electors, or 32.4%, including 355 who declined their ballot. Clarington’s service reported 29,520, or 34.0%, including 152 declined ballots. Brock reported 4,487 voters, or 40.5%, while Uxbridge displayed unofficial turnout of 9,268 out of 18,771 electors, or 49.4%.

Those are the municipalities’ own turnout figures, not this newsroom’s estimates. They should not be substituted for the vote total in a particular mayoral, council or trustee contest: the official services separately display contest-level information.

Check the full trustee reporting area

Brock and Uxbridge direct readers to Scugog for the complete Durham District School Board trustee result. The local trustee figures on their own pages should not be mistaken for the full shared-area count.

For any race, use the section explicitly labelled 2026 and look for later certification notices. Some municipal pages also retain previous election results. This article does not reproduce trustee names or declare anyone elected.

Sources and verification

All eight municipal source pages above were opened on October 27. Ajax, Brock, Clarington, Scugog and Uxbridge provided readable results text. Oshawa and Whitby provided the official landing-page notices, but their embedded tallies were not readable in the page extraction; Pickering’s linked results application likewise did not expose its counts. No numerical results from those three applications are asserted here.
