Whitby residents preparing for the 2026 municipal election can vote during four advance-voting days, on Election Day, or by special mail-in ballot, according to the Town’s latest voter-information notice.
Voting dates and locations
Advance voting is scheduled from October 22 through October 25 at three locations. On Monday, October 26, voters can cast ballots at one of 19 Election Day locations.

Mail-in ballot deadlines
Electors seeking a special mail-in ballot must apply through the Office of the Town Clerk. The Town lists three application deadlines:
- By mail: October 4, the last day the Town recommends mailing an application to support Canada Post delivery.
- By email: October 11.
- In person: October 21 at 4:30 p.m.
