Scugog voters can now confirm whether they are registered for the 2026 municipal and school-board election using the Township’s voter information service.
The Township of Scugog announced that access to check voter information is available through the close of voting at 8 p.m. on Monday, October 26, 2026. Residents can use the online tool to verify their entry and confirm that their information is correct.
What to do if your information is missing or incorrect
Residents who are not on the voters’ list, or who need to correct their information, can visit the Scugog Municipal Office during regular office hours. The Township says applicants must complete the prescribed amendment form and provide acceptable identification. Assistance will also be available at Township voting assistance centres during the voting period.
Voting options and important dates
Scugog will offer internet voting from October 14 at 10 a.m. until October 26 at 8 p.m. In-person voting will also be available at locations in Port Perry, Greenbank, Blackstock and Scugog Island on selected dates. Eligible voters may use any voting location, regardless of the ward in which they qualify.
All voters on the list are expected to receive a voter information package in early October. That package can be used for internet voting after authentication or taken to an in-person location with acceptable identification.
Why checking early matters
Verifying your information before voting begins can reduce delays and helps ensure that the correct municipal and school-board contests appear on your ballot. School-board choices depend on the voter’s school-support designation; residents should also confirm that designation when reviewing their record.
Our sister site, All About Durham, also reported on the opening of the voters’ list lookup. DurhamPoliticians.com independently checked the details against the Township’s official voter information and public-notice pages.
