The Greater Oshawa Chamber of Commerce has scheduled a ticketed meet and greet with Oshawa’s mayoral candidates for Thursday, Oct. 8, from 8 to 10 p.m.
Where and when
The reception is set for Bond|St Snack Bar at 44 Bond St. E. in downtown Oshawa. It follows the Chamber’s mayoral debate, which is scheduled for 6 to 8 p.m. the same evening.
The Chamber says the post-debate gathering is intended to give candidates, business leaders and community members additional time for conversation and reflection. Appetizers are included and a cash bar will be available.
Ticket information
Admission is listed at $35 for Chamber members and $45 for non-members. The organizer advertises a $5 early-bird discount for reservations made by 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 27.
The reception is a paid event and is distinct from the preceding debate. Registration availability may change.
