Durham Region Transit changes taking effect September 8 add later service, new trips and route extensions while ending several seasonal branches.
Later and expanded service
Routes 121, 216, 224, 902 and 917 are scheduled to operate until midnight seven days a week. Weekend service on routes 409 and 419 extends to 10 p.m., and Route 405 gains later Oshawa Centre departures.
Route 423 extends on weekdays to Harmony Road and Nancy Diamond Boulevard in north Oshawa. Route 502C gains weekday midday service in southwest Bowmanville and later weekend service, while Route 505 begins and ends at Simpson and King.
Other changes
Extra Route 920B peak trips return for student travel. Seasonal branches serving the Pickering and Ajax waterfronts and the Toronto Zoo/Rouge area end for the season. Riders should check the official schedule before travelling.
