Pickering residents planning a Friday dog-park visit will need another destination: the City says the entire dog park at Dunmoore Park will close for the day on October 30.
The October 29 service notice says crews need access to correct remaining light-fixture deficiencies. The closure applies to the dog park as a whole, not just one entrance or a small work area.
Before visiting
Check the City’s current closure notice for any changes before travelling. The announcement specifies a one-day closure but does not give a precise reopening hour.
For questions about this disruption, Pickering lists its service disruption line at 1-866-278-9993 and staff contacts in the notice. This report does not imply that every other part of Dunmoore Park is closed: the official announcement specifically identifies the dog park.
