Durham Regional Police Service says it will increase patrols at Jewish places of worship and community gathering locations across Durham Region during the upcoming Jewish High Holidays.
Uniform officers will maintain a visible presence at identified locations during Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. DRPS describes the measures as precautionary and intended to support public safety and reassure worshippers and visitors.
