Ajax residents, businesses and community groups can drop off non-perishable food from September 9 through October 5 to support local food banks.
The Town is working with Durham Region and neighbouring municipalities on Hunger Action Month, encouraging food and financial donations as well as awareness of local needs.
Five Ajax drop-off locations

- Ajax Community Centre
- Audley Recreation Centre
- Ajax Public Library, Main Branch
The Town identifies weekend drop-off availability at the three community/recreation centres and the library, but not Town Hall. Check facility hours before travelling.
Donations will support local Ajax food banks. The Town’s notice provides suggested items, while the Durham campaign page has regional information.
