Oshawa’s Convergence Music & Art Festival returns downtown Saturday, September 19 and Sunday, September 20, with live music, art, markets, vendors and family activities.
Festival hours
The City lists festival programming from noon to 9 p.m. on both days. Free family art activities are planned in Veterans Square from noon to 7 p.m.
Downtown road closures
Event closures are scheduled from 6 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. on September 19 and 20 on parts of King, Prince, Ontario, Victoria, Celina, Albert and Simcoe streets. Celina Street between King and Athol is listed as closed overnight.
A separate City update says Albert Street between King Street East and Athol Street East is already closed to through traffic from September 17 until 4 p.m. September 21. The City states that no through access is available for emergency vehicles on that segment.
Festival traffic may also affect Durham Region Transit routes. Travellers should check current City and DRT notices before entering the downtown core.
