Internet and telephone voting is now open for Brock Township’s 2026 municipal and school-board election. Eligible electors can vote around the clock until 8 p.m. on Monday, October 26.

Voters need the credentials in their Voter Information Letter. Online voting can be completed using a computer, tablet or smartphone, while telephone voters can call the number printed in their letter and follow the prompts.

Voting assistance is available in three communities

Brock is operating Voting Assistance Centres at the municipal administration building in Cannington, the Sunderland Fire Station and the Foster Hewitt Memorial Community Centre in Beaverton.

The Cannington location has scheduled hours on October 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 and 26. The Sunderland and Beaverton locations are scheduled to open on October 22, 24 and 26. Hours vary by day, and electors should check the official notice before travelling.

The centres can help voters obtain a Voter Information Letter, request a ballot-on-demand or use an internet-connected device. Brock directs electors to bring their voter letter if they received one and acceptable identification.

Ballots depend on ward and school-board support

The township says Brock residents may vote for mayor, regional councillor, their ward councillor and the applicable school-board trustee positions. The official election site links to a ward map and the certified candidate list.

Unofficial results follow the close of voting

After voting closes, Brock says totals from internet, telephone and ballot-on-demand voting must be combined before unofficial results are released. Official results will follow certification by the municipal clerk.
