John Henry is the Regional Chair and CEO of Durham Region, first elected to the role in 2018. A lifelong Oshawa resident born to General Motors workers, he previously served as Mayor of Oshawa from 2010 to 2018 and as a Ward 5 city councillor before that. He is a graduate of Durham College and George Brown College.
